Production Department manages the day to day tasks of manpower utilisation, project ETAs, information sharing. They spend their time on the production floor, interacting with the production manager, producer, team leads and department supervisor. Support the VFX Producer and Supervisor in scheduling, prioritising and tracking internal technical assignments and project details.

ACTIVITIES:
- Scheduling, prioritizing and tracking internal technical assignments and project details
- Organize dailies, rounds and project meetings.
- Be able to schedule and track artists’ work: manage internal shot goals, status and delivery dates using shotgun.
- Organize and setup media for cinesync / client review sessions.
- Create and review technical specifications for the creation of visual effects work.
- Ensuring work is being approved and completed on time and to specification.
- Review technical client requests and assess feasibility of implementation and/or cost impact.
Competency Requirements:
- 2+ years’ work experience in VFX production including knowledge of post-production techniques and terminology.
- Must be proficient Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Must be a detail oriented, proactive and well organized individual, able to grow and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent skills in collaboration and communication. And a good note taker.
- Strong interpersonal skills
LOCATION:
Work From Office at either of our Chennai or Hyderabad Studio.
Producer primarily focuses on clients and their needs Responsible for managing all aspects of production for a given shot. This will include bidding, scheduling, resource planning and managing the production budget. In collaboration with the VFX Supervisor, will also be responsible for the timely completion of the visual effects work on budget and to the client and PixStone expectation. Partner with supervisors, team leads, production manager and production coordinator when necessary to manage the client relationship on a daily basis and ensure highest standards of work is produced at all times.
ACTIVITIES:
- Responsibility for cost estimation, bidding, generating reports
- Interaction with clients, production, attending of meetings, quick assessing of relevant information, pertaining to budget and schedule in relation to the facility
- Developing and coordinating overall project schedules
- Monitoring project progress, acting accordingly to ensure project completion and quality as scheduled and within budget parameters; participation in weekly shot status meetings
- Maintain a transparent relationship between client and production floor
- Reviewing of project contracts
- Meet budget and schedule targets
Competency Requirements:
- 6+ years’ work experience in production including extensive knowledge of post-production techniques and terminology
- Must be a detail oriented, proactive and well organized individual, able to grow and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Should be a hands-on producer, willing to offer professional expertise and values such as integrity, forward-thinking, team-spirit
- Patience and will to instruct and coach team-members. Understanding the limitations of your knowledge and seeking expert advice when appropriate
- Good understanding of post-production processes.
- Excellent skills in collaboration, problem solving and communication – written and spoken.
LOCATION:
Work From Office at either of our Chennai or Hyderabad Studio.
Micro level daily work management in terms of interacting with team leads and artists. Work with HR to identify human resource requirements. Work with supervisors on manpower utilisation.
ACTIVITIES:
- Creates a schedule for all phases of production and helps assign artists to the work
- Helps create and maintain task assignments for the teams; anticipates potential staffing changes based on development or creative shifts through the shot
- Maintains and publishes information regarding client notes and changes in planned work for Supervisors and artists
- Provides support to VFX supervisors as needed
- Helps Producer manage the task assignments and priorities for the teams
- Manages daily resource utilisation and acts as the primary contact on the production team regarding the allocation of resources
- Communicates daily with the team regarding changes to priorities, etc..
Competency Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years’ visual effects production experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years of leading teams as a production manager
- Should have working knowledge of Microsoft Office application
